A brother made a similar poll a week or so ago but the general opinion was that it wasn't comprehensive enough. Thought I'll give it a shot. I've tried to be as broad and inclusive as possible. Apologies in advance for any errors.

Some of the regions are quite general so please feel free to specify exactly where you hail from in the comments. I also just put a general option for mixed ethnicity because it would be nigh on impossible to include all the possible mixes. Again, feel free to specify your mixture in the comments. I'll start with that - I'm Turkic/Pakistani.

I'll put the data into a pretty graph or something and post it later inshallah.

What should I do for Easter?

I’m a Muslim in a Christian family. My grandparents are very religious, and are making everyone go to church. Nobody in family knows I’m Muslim. What should I do at the church so God won’t be mad at me?

I want to start this by saying that I love this community, and thank you all so much for doing a wonderful job passing the message of Allah along it is truly inspiring to see so much effort and love into helping people and I want you all to know that I’m very thankful to you all.

Now I am new to the understandings of the Quran and the Muslim’s faith. But I am captivated by the beautiful message and how patient and loving you are to spread the message, not to convert people no but to pass on the message and have faith that Allah will guide them. That is the most powerful thing I have ever heard of, to me it’s a true testament to your faith and your beliefs. Now for my question, this was a multipurpose post because I wanted to show acknowledgment and spread love but I am also very curious and exited to see the responses to the question I am about to ask. What are the qualities of a good moral person? What does it mean to be good? How can we live our everyday lives and express this? What can the world use more of? What direction would you like to see the world in the future? I have no doubt that this questions are answered in the Quran. I have yet to have read it, I just discovered the message today and I am so captivated that I’d like to see how you all will respond to these/any of these questions. I’m a very philosophical person who will very much enjoy reading your comments and responding to them :) don’t hold back folks! Give me everything you’ve got, and please speak from the heart but I have no doubt that I do not have to remind you of that!
