Anyone know where in the QuRan it says hadith will be preserved?

Is there any verse or something that says that hadith will be preserved?

This stems from my previous thread, which was about the punishment of adultery being stoning.

"And We ordained for them therein a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds is legal retribution. But whoever gives [up his right as] charity, it is an expiation for him. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the wrongdoers. Qur'an 5:45 "

When you murder someone, it seems logical that you should face a similar consequence. But I don't see how having sex (even while married) would have the punishment of being killed (stoned to death.) That doesn't seem like an eye for an eye for me. Wouldn't it make sense that Quran overpower Hadith in every single situation?
