I'm a Catholic who's been thoroughly dissatisfied with the Church lately, I've developed an interest in Islam (I've already read a translation of Qur'an) and would like to learn more. I live close to a few Islamic centers, and I was considering going to one and asking a few a questions about Islam; I was wondering if anyone has any advice.
Should I call in advance or just show up? Do most Mosques have, for example, some visitor's center or guest room? Is there a particular day I visit or is any time fine?
