How do you view Muslim countries?

So I want to get an idea of how people here view Muslim countries and their governments, laws as well as people. And how would you fix the country? You don't need to list all, just a few. Or talk about your country.

So feel free to share.

Afghanistan: Honestly sad to see that Afghanistan is a mess, beautiful country, and wonderful landscape. The government seems pretty corrupt. And honestly, I still haven't got a clue what Al-Qaeda/Taliban stands for.

Pakistan: I'm a Kashmiri, so support a fully independent Kashmir. But I also class myself as Pakistani. I love the country, but some of the people are really behind. Pakistan, in my opinion, has the potential to be so good, but they need to focus heavily on education and remove a backward culture. Arrange marriages, acid attacks etc.

Iraq: Iraq is doing well after Daesh. They're slowly on the road to recovery, Abadi may not be the best leader. But he's the best man for Iraq.

Iran: I don't like their government, but I like them a lot more than the Saudi's. I love the fact that they've done well, despite being seen as the enemy of the world in some peoples eyes. Their hatred for Israel is nothing to do with it being a Jewish state or being on Palestinian land. If Israel cut all ties with the US. I can see Iran opening up to them. I understand some won't support that opinion, and it's okay.

Saudi Arabia: Not fond of the royal family. I've met people who believe because they hold the two holiest cities in Islam, we should support them.

Which Muslim country do you believe will be doing well in the next 10 years? And what steps are needed for countries to improve?
