I'm really confused about this. The fatawa I see online indicate that it's not permissible because it involves striking the face, which is prohibited (SeekersHub, IslamQA). But then I see so many Muslims including the ones on this sub completely fine with watching boxing, MMA. The thread on Khabib with 180 upvotes as of right now is a case in point. Is there like a difference of opinion that I'm not aware of or something? Or do Muslims, even otherwise practicing ones, just not care?
