Looking for counterpoints! Another Christian Argument against Islamic God using God's love [by William Lane Craig]

This is similar to a previous post of mine on the topic.

William Lane Craig [WLC] makes an argument against the Islamic conception of God

WLC's argument can be found here starting with the paragraph "That brings us to my second point, that the Muslim concept of God is rationally objectionable..."

The Argument

1. If Islamic God is the greatest conceivable being (aka God) then the Islamic God is all-loving
   
2. If the Islamic God is all-loving then the Islamic God loves everyone
   
3. The Islamic God does not love everyone
   3.1 The Quran states Allah does not love the unbelievers (Sura 3:32)
   
4. (From 2 & 3), The Islamic God is not all-loving.
   (From 1 & 4), Therefore, The Islamic God is not the Greatest Conceivable Being (aka God)

First Impression

I must admit that I don't find this as unconvincing as the previous argument.

Premise 2 here seems like it should be true. There are various verses where it says that God does not love the unbelievers (kafiroon) and other sinners. The christian objection to this is coming from the popular sentiment of "Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin". Again, I must admit this sounds like it should be true.

So the question becomes, "Can God hate people"? or "Can God not love certain people"? (Maybe there is a subtle difference between "not loving" and "hating"). Is a being that always loves the individual while hating the sin, greater than a being that does not love the sinning individual?

CounterPoints

It is possible that when it is said that Allah does not love the unbelievers or other sinners, it really meant that he has hatred for the the unbelief and sin in the person. He does not hate the actual person. (But I admit this seems like a forced interpretation)

Maybe the saying of "Love the sinner, hate the sin" is just wrong and God actually does hate the sinners. (But again this point doesn't seem like it should be true).

P.S. Do you guys know of anything in the bible where it says that God does not love certain groups of people
