[Question/help] What is the concept of humility in Islam?

In my contry the concept of humility has to be with the way that you speak, wear yourself and similar things than with a spiritual concept. It's meaning has more to be with the way that you act according with expectation of conduct or culture of a place.

For example, depending of the way I dress myself I could be considered flaunt even by people that dont know nothing about me just because in their opnion that is not the way the a person like me shoud wear himself.

Another example, if I show my opnion in a very strong, explicit way but it's in disagreement with what most poeple say even I being correct, it would be considered arrogant and they would say that I lack humility.

That is, humility here, in my opnion, is more a material than a spiritual concept.

I'm not a muslim but I was reading about Islam and discovered the concepts of Tad'a and Khasha'a and both are very different of the concept that I wrote before.

I have this doubt if this concept of humility that I describe is considered in Islam or not? Could someone help me? Thanks! (Sorry if I posted it out the rules)
