I am talking about statements in Quran and Hadith which describe God as being on a throne on water, ascending and descending, having eyes, hands and legs, being in time like other material things?
All these descriptions of God imply a human-like or physical God.
Since God is supposed to have created space and time, it makes no sense for God to have a spatially extended body or act in time (like talk or react to things etc.)
Muslims know this but they seem to reject such statements and interpret them away metaphorically.
Is having such description of God not sufficient to reject Islam?
Looking forward to a respectful and engaging conversation.
