Why is Arab society so dismissive of sexuality?
I understand why someone might be turned off by pornography, public displays of affection, fornication, and other forms of hedonism.
But Arab society seems to disregard sexuality entirely. Even married couples having sex is considered taboo in some Arab societies. Why is that? The Quran encourages sexual activity? Why can’t a man or woman enjoy sex from his/her partner?
