A question for British Muslims

Salam,

So I’ve recently heard from someone fairly educated and respected that in BST (British Summer Time) it’s allowed to pray at midday but haram to pray at 1pm, as the clocks have moved one hour forward so the sun is actually at it’s highest point one hour later. How correct is this statement, and does it hold any weight Islamically? I’ve tried looking for hanafi sources online but I couldn’t find anything.
