As Salamu Alaykum,
recently I've found an Interview with Dr. Umar, where he talks about the missing of headgears for western muslim men (minute 45). He emphasizes at this interview, that muslim men also need to wear a headgear, as the Ulama have said to do so.
He also states that a lot of men wear turbans or traditional muslim headgears from other countries beacuse of that, but as it doesnt fit to the western societys, it just produces unease to wear them.
After that he states, that he told his friends, that they should hire together a designer to create a beautiful headgear for western muslims.
So why im writing this thread? Well, to encourage muslim designers of reddit to create such a a headgear like that and to fullfill the wish of this great scholar: Having a headgear for muslims in the west, that fits in this society and that identifies the wearer as a muslims.
So if anyone here has some designing talent or some understand of Fashion: Feel free to create and show your ideas to us!
