In all my Tajwid classes, I've always heard that mistakes in tajwid can change the meaning of what you're reading. Not pronouncing letters property, not stretching madds long enough, or messing up ghunna rules, etc. I've just accepted that you have to be meticulous when reciting, but a friend of mine learning how to read the Quran is frustrated by how it can really matter so much.
Are there any examples of Tajwid mistakes actually changing what you're reciting, more than it just being a mispronunciation?
