I'm a revert from Christianity struggling with Islam

Assalam Alaikum,

I reverted to Islam about 8 months ago with Muslim witnesses. Since then, I have not had any contact with any Muslims (outside of the internet, I'm an avid lurker here). I've tried to learn how to pray on my own and I do it every day, but I'm still not sure if I'm doing it correctly. I'm so excited for my first Ramadan, but I struggle with being faithful.

My entire family is Christian and really none of them know about my conversion. They hate Islam and I even hide my Qur'an in a closet so that they don't find it. I wish I could go to a masjid every day to pray with a community, but the nearest mosque to me has people that know my siblings and would tell them about my conversion. There's a masjid about an hour from my house that I was invited to by the brothers there, but I don't have any way of getting there. The only good part is that I will be graduating in a year, so I will be able to spend all of my time at a masjid once I'm on my own. :D

I'm sorry for all of this complaining, but I just needed to get this off my chest to other Muslims.

Are there any things that you guys recommend which could help me grow in faith?

JazakAllahu khairan katheeran!
