1st Scenario:
Let X and Y be my friend, they don't know each and don't have clue about one another. But they both are my friends.
X did something wrong. I discussed it with Y, shared X's situation without giving any identification about X. Purpose is to get some suggestion. Is it backbiting?
Scenario 2:
If someone did bad with me, I shared it with my friend who knows that person too. I am not talking about excessive sharing with others to defame him. Is it backbiting?
