Salam,
I was reading all the verses in the Quran that talk about different prayers (fajr, asr etc). When I read 20:130 I realised it has mentioned fajr twice in the same verse. I’m quite confused.
“So be patient over what they say and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun (FAJR) and before its setting (ASR); and during periods of the night (ISHA) [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied.”
Two references to fajr prayer in the same verse: 1. before the rising of the sun (fajr) 2. at the ends of the day (fajr and maghrib)
Why? Or perhaps my interpretation is wrong?
JazakAllahKhair
