The Quran on supporting what is forbidden

> And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful. [3:104]

>O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination. [31:17]

>[And they are] those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakah and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allah belongs the outcome of [all] matters. [22:41]

>Cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and of Jesus, the son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed. They used not to prevent one another from wrongdoing that they did. How wretched was that which they were doing. [5:78-79]

>And when they forgot that by which they had been reminded, We saved those who had forbidden evil and seized those who wronged, with a wretched punishment, because they were defiantly disobeying. [7:165]

>Take what is given freely, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant. [7:199]

Some will ask for tafsir for more clarity, but I believe Allah's message here is clear enough: Enjoin good, forbid evil.

It behooves any sane Muslims to doubt the Islam of those claiming to be Muslims who supports or is content with evil being committed, spread, and/or encouraged.
