Doctors or med students: Does fasting make panic attacks or general anxiety worse?

Assalamualaykum,

Since Ramadan started, I've noticed an increase in my anxiety, and after few days of consecutive fasting, it was triggering my panic attacks severely after iftar, so much so that I was forced to take a gap day in between. Is there some correlation here, or is it being caused by something else?

I visited my doctor and he adjusted my meds, but I would like some insight from muslims.

I didn't have these symptoms last year, so becoming sick like this during Ramadan is very frustrating.
