I was recently watching an Ali Dawah video where Ali was debating with an atheist and looking for scientific passages to tell the atheist. One of his entourage then suggests to him the quranic narrative regarding embryo development, but Ali says no because "modern science does not agree with these passages, and so we don't talk about that". Could anyone here clarify what he could mean by this? I always thought the quranic narrative was in accordance with modern embryology. Thanks and salam!
