I live in a small town in Arkansas and we got our first Muslim grocery store. It's opening was pending the last few days, so I've been checking by daily because its right across the street from my job. It finally opened and I wanted to try something new and didn't think anything about the wild hog mascot on my t-shirt until hours later. Nobody said anything about it. As a non-Muslim, would it be recommended for me to apologize? I want to be someone who can build bridges in our community even though I'm bit of a introvert.
I'm glad we're getting more culturally diverse in this part of the US. Also, for me and my wife, any advice before attending a mosque. Are non-Muslims welcome? I just want to hear other points of view, having come from a one-sided upbringing.
