We know that small, consistent deeds have immense rewards. We also know that recurring deeds–those that benefit over and over again–are highly praised.
In the Qur’an, Allah compares a good word to a tree, with firm roots and sky-high branches, using a familiar example to explain a high concept.
The Prophet, Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, compared the palm tree to a believer, because of its resilience, hardiness, and benefit.
This Ramadan, how about trying to honor the trees of the Qur’an, while also doing a recurring good deed? Plant a tree, with an intention to benefit humanity, animals, and the environment.
