The flagbearer of Falfasa and Kalam, Fakhr Ad Din Al Razi (R) comments the superiority of the Quran in his testament/will while bedridden in 1209, just like Al Juwayni (R), Abu Hassan al Ashari (R) and Al Ghazali (R), they all pretty much dropped recanted in regards to Kalam

"I tried the methods of kalam and falsafa, and I did not find in them the profit which I found in the great Quran; for it calls to ascribing all greatness and majesty to God, and prevents from delving deeply into the preoccupation with objections and contradictions. This is so only because of our knowledge that human minds come to nothing and fade away in these treacherous defiles and hidden ways" (Ayman, Shihadeh - The Teleological Ethics of Fakhr al Din Al Razi, Page 200/2001)
